Clarification Text (Information Notice) — KVKK
Purpose and Scope
This Clarification Text explains how your personal data is collected, processed, stored, and transferred when you contact us, request services, or use our website.
A. Categories of Personal Data Processed
Depending on your interaction with us, we may process the following categories of personal data:
- Identity & Contact Data: name, surname, company name, job title, e-mail address, phone number, country/city.
- Customer/Request Data: your inquiry details, message content, requested service type, order/inspection-related information you share, communication records.
- Website/Technical Data: IP address, device/browser information, access logs, date/time of access, and similar traffic data (collected automatically for security and operation of the site).
- Cookie/Analytics Data: cookie identifiers and usage data, subject to your cookie preferences where applicable.
B. Purposes of Processing
Your personal data may be processed for the following purposes:
- Managing communication requests and responding to inquiries.
- Providing information about our services, preparing quotations, and managing service requests.
- Planning and delivering services (e.g., incoming shipment checks, pre-shipment checks, factory capability checks).
- Managing customer relationship processes and maintaining records of communications.
- Ensuring website and IT security, preventing abuse/fraud, and improving site performance.
- Fulfilling legal obligations and responding to requests from authorized public institutions.
- If you provide explicit consent: sending service updates and marketing communications.
C. Legal Grounds (KVKK Article 5)
Your personal data is processed based on the applicable legal grounds under KVKK, including:
- Processing is necessary for the establishment or performance of a contract (KVKK Art. 5/2-c).
- Processing is necessary for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligations (KVKK Art. 5/2-c).
- Processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm fundamental rights and freedoms (KVKK Art. 5/2-f).
- Explicit consent where required (KVKK Art. 5/1), especially for marketing communications and certain cross-border transfers, if applicable.
D. Collection Methods
Your personal data may be collected through:
- Website contact forms.
- E-mail, phone, WhatsApp or similar communication channels.
- Website logs/cookies through automatic means.
- Meetings and communications related to service delivery.
E. Recipients and Transfer of Personal Data
Your personal data may be shared, limited to necessity and in line with the purposes above, with:
- Our internal teams and authorized personnel.
- IT/hosting, e-mail, CRM, analytics, and cybersecurity service providers.
- Professional advisors (e.g., legal, financial) when necessary.
- Authorized public institutions and organizations, upon lawful request.
Cross-border transfers (if applicable): If our IT infrastructure/service providers are located outside Turkey, your personal data may be transferred abroad in compliance with KVKK and applicable regulations and safeguards. Where explicit consent is required, your consent will be obtained separately.
F. Retention Period
Your personal data is stored for the period necessary for the purposes of processing, and for the minimum retention periods required under applicable legislation. When the retention period expires, data is deleted, destroyed, or anonymized in accordance with KVKK.
G. Data Subject Rights (KVKK Article 11)
As a data subject, you have the right to:
- Learn whether your personal data is processed.
- Request information if it has been processed.
- Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose.
- Know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically/abroad.
- Request correction of incomplete/incorrect data.
- Request deletion or destruction under KVKK conditions.
- Request notification of correction/deletion to third parties to whom data was transferred.
- Object to results against you arising from analysis by automated systems.
- Request compensation for damages due to unlawful processing.
